Our trip provider for this year’s trips, Winter Ski and Sport, is offering trip insurance to provide some financial protection against the unpredictable aspects of life and travel. There are two different priced offerings – one at 5% of the trip cost, and the other at 11.2% of the trip cost.

Under the 5% plan (Injuries, Weather Delays/Cancellations, etc.) up to 100% of the non-refundable portions, if the trip must be canceled.  At the 11.2% rate, you can cancel the trip for any reason and the insurance will cover 75% of the non-refundable costs. The refundable portions of the trip will be reimbursed by the club/trip provider.

Now that Winter Ski & Sports’ web page for insurance is up and running, payments should be made by credit card rather than checks.  Please refer to the following links for the FAQ Document, the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) Document, and to  Purchase Club Travel Plan Insurance or Purchase Cancel for Any Reason Coverage.
