Thursday Night Bike Rides (Spring, Summer, Fall)

Thursday night bike rides leave at 6:00 PM from Deer Grove Forest preserve. We meet in the parking lot that is accessible from Dundee road and is about 1/3 mile west of Hicks Road.

Rides early in the year are at a modest pace and range from 18 to 22 miles. Later in the year the distance tends to increase along with the pace but we accommodate riders of all abilities. Hillside Road, Cuba Road and Deep Woods Road are some of our favorite routes.

It is not uncommon to have an adult beverage after the ride. :)

A ride notification E-Mail is sent out on Wednesday or on occasion Thursday letting all of those interested know if the there are any change in plans. For example if the weather looks iffy, the ride will be cancelled. If you would like to be on our E-Mail notification list, send your E-Mail address to ibexactivities@skiibex.com.
